Smallest possible PC with best specs. We did not say it was cheap..

So far the best we Media Player (PC) that can find that can still be hidden behind a standard size LCD monitor is the Dell USFF OptiPlex 760.
It measures in at only:

Height (inches/centimeters) 10.3" / 26.4mm
Width (inches/centimeters) 3.5" / 8.9mm
Depth (inches/centimeters) 9.9" / 25.3mm

which is very small... Now the price tag is a different story, as of 6/30/2009 it retails for about $830.00 and it is powered by a Core Duo 3.33GHz Intel processor and 1GB of memory. And while it's not cheap, it is VERY small which makes it an ideal solution.

We´ve looked into this one and have actually gotten Dell to give us $ 680 price tag. but the question remains of whether or not the samll processor which shares RAM with graphics card will be able to do a decent job or not.

anybody tried it yet?
