Definitions:

  • Reseller: someone (potentially you) who uses the SaaS Digital Signage product to sell the services to others
  • Subscriber: a customer (not a reseller) who pays on a monthly basis for the Digital Signage services and uses at least 1 or more SignagePlayer.
  • Free user: a customer (not a reseller) who does not pay for our services and uses only 1 SignagePlayer and 25MB of disk space.
  • SignagePlayer Desktop version license: a single license to run our Digital Signage service.  We give everyone 1 free SignagePlayer license and 25MB storage
  • White label / Branding: a feature of making your web site look as if you own the MediaSignage Digital Signage solution using your logo and textual content in our application
  • ResellerStudio: An application developed to allow resellers to manage their reseller account. The application features live monitoring of the subscribers, managing white label and more.
  • Embedded components: A small snippets of HTML / JavaScript code that you embed in your web site to include our reseller tools (Login, create account, referral link and more)
  • Reseller Calculator: A tool that allows you (a reseller) to view your income in each pricing scenario. Play with values to get a feel for our pricing strategy
  • Gain Ratio: A key value in the reseller calculator that allows you (a reseller) to modify your own pricing strategy.

White label:

The white label is designed for individuals who own or operate a Digital Signage company. It allows you to embed all of our Digital Signage components including login screen, signage studios, signage players and support components directly on your own web site. Your web visitors can open new Digital Signage accounts directly on your web site while returning visitor can login to their accounts through your web portal. You can make the MediaSignage application look as if it's your own (AKA branding) using your logo and company information. If at any time a free user that opened an account through your web portal is converted into a paid subscriber, you will receive a percentage of the monthly subscriber's recurring fee for as long as the subscriber remains in good paying terms.

Your income:


MediaSignage published prices are listed in our reseller price calculator.

The price is based on the formula which takes into account all SignagePlayer Desktop version licenses and disk storage a subscriber uses.
A reseller like yourself may choose to use our pricing baseline which is what happens when you set the Gain Ratio to 1 on our reseller calculator. Resellers may also choose to modify our pricing to better fit their business model by increasing the Gain Ratio on the reseller calculator.
In other words, you may be more expensive, less expensive or match our prices based on your service offering.

Once you become a reseller, your cost per SignagePlayer Desktop version license is determined by the total number of   monthly paying SignagePlayer Desktop version licenses that are associated with your account. It doesn't matter how many subscribers are associated with your reseller account but rather just how many SignagePlayer Desktop version licenses are being used (excluding the 1 free licenses). The more SignagePlayers you manage under your reseller account the lower is your cost per SignagePlayer Desktop version respectively.

The price that your subscribers pay is based on the formula listed on on the reseller calculator. You may choose to modify it by increasing the Gain Ratio. The important thing to remember is that you are always free to charge your customers whatever subscription fee you want. You will charge your customer accordingly and we will charge you our cost, the difference is your profit; it’s that simple.

The key is that as you sell more SignagePlayer Desktop licenses (regardless of the number of subscribers), your cost per SignagePlayer Desktop version will continue and decrease respectively, until the rock bottom price is reached. So as you become a stronger reseller, the price per SignagePlayer Desktop version decreases.

You may choose to include several hours of technical support to your customers, a few hours of signage content creation or possibly graphic design assistance. You can provide training courses and online Webinars. MediaSignage gives you the complete flexibility to maintain your own pricing strategy that's right for you. It's your business and your success, we just provide the tools. We don’t take a percentage of your advertisements, we don’t charge ridiculous fees and we let you run your own responsible Digital Signage business; your own business.

Fees:

When you signup as a reseller you will gain access to our ResellerStudio which allows for real time monitoring of your subscribers and their players; management over their account including disabling delinquent accounts. The ResellerStudio includes many advanced features such as billing calculator, white label configuration, application external link manager, textual context manager, subscriber reporting, sample referral e-mail, and more. Starting with release 2.0 (Around April 2010) we will also include the Advertising engine (with proof of play), CSS support, SMS notifications, Access Control Lists and more, all part of the Reseller program.

The Reseller program will cost you a flat $99.00 a month, no contract, no setup fees.

The fee is based on monthly recurring charge. The fee is flat regardless of how many subscribers or SignagePlayer licenses you are managing. Reseller benefits also include free technical support and more. The program adheres to our reseller license agreement.
