MediaSignage makes it easy for individuals and businesses alike to become true resellers using our Digital Signage software as a service solution.

MediaSignage provides several options including referral (AKA affiliation) and white label services.
In this document we will cover the different options of choosing, implementing and managing the MediaSignage reseller program.
 
The program is designed for individuals who own a web site (which may or may not be related to Digital Signage) and wish to generate repeat passive income.

MediaSignage reseller program is designed to maximize the potential growth of a business. We feel we are giving you the tools to become a true reseller in our continued growth. We know your success is our success and so we developed all the necessary tools to support you and gain your trust.


Definition of terms used in this document:

  • Reseller: someone (potentially you) who uses white label (branding) or referrals to generate repeat digital signage income.
  • Subscriber: a customer (not a reseller) who pays on a monthly basis for the Digital Signage services and uses at least 1 or more AIRPlayers.
  • Free user: a customer (not a reseller) who does not pay for our services and uses only 1 AIRPlayers and 25MB of disk space.
  • AIRPlayer license: a single license to run our Digital Signage service.  We give everyone 1 free AIRPlayer license and 25MB storage
  • Referral: (AKA Affiliation) a reseller who uses our referral option to obtain subscribers through advertisements on his own web page
  • White label / Branding: a feature of making your web site look as if you own the MediaSignage Digital Signage solution using your logo and textual content in our application
  • Reseller studio: An application developed to allow resellers to manage their reseller account. The application features live monitoring of the subscribers, managing white label and more.
  • Embedded components: A small snippets of HTML / JavaScript code that you embed in your web site to include our reseller tools (Login, create account, referral link and more)
  • Reseller Calculator: A tool that allows you (a reseller) to view your income in each pricing scenario. Play with values to get a feel for our pricing strategy
  • Gain Ratio: A key value in the reseller calculator that allows you (a reseller) to modify your own pricing strategy.

Referral (affiliate) option:

If you own a web site that is not related to Digital Signage you may choose to take advantage of our referral option. With the referral option you will embed an image on your web site that reads "Free Digital Signage". Once a web visitor clicks the image, he/she will be redirected to MediaSignage.com where they will have an opportunity to open a free Digital Signage account. If at any time a free user is converted into a paid subscriber, you will receive a percentage of the monthly subscription for as long as the subscriber remains in good paying terms.


White label option:


The white label is designed for individuals who own or operate a Digital Signage company. It allows you to embed all of our Digital Signage components including login screen, signage studios, signage players and support components directly on your own web site. Your web visitors can open new Digital Signage accounts directly on your web site while returning visitor can login to their accounts through your web portal. You can make the MediaSignage application look as if it's your own (AKA branding) using your logo and company information. If at any time a free user that opened an account through your web portal is converted into a paid subscriber, you will receive a percentage of the monthly subscriber's recurring fee for as long as the subscriber remains in good paying terms.

Your income:


MediaSignage published prices are listed in our reseller price calculator.

The price is based on the formula which takes into account all AIRPlayer licenses and disk storage a subscriber uses.

A reseller like yourself may choose to use our pricing baseline which is what happens when you set the Gain Ratio to 1 on our reseller calculator. Resellers may also choose to modify our pricing to better fit their business model by increasing Gain Ratio on the reseller calculator.
In other words, you may be more expansive, less expansive or match our prices based on your service offering.

Once you become a reseller, your cost per AIRPlayer license is determined by the total number of   monthly paying AIRPlayer licenses that are associated with your account (through web referrals or through white label). It doesn't matter how many subscribers are associated with your reseller account but rather just how many AIRPlayer licenses are (excluding free licenses). The more AIRPlayers you manage under your reseller account the lower is your cost per AIRPlayer respectively.

The price that your subscribers pay is based on the formula listed on on the reseller calculator.
You may choose to modify it by increasing the Gain Ratio if you choose to offer higher prices.

The beauty of this strategy is that even if you match our prices on your own web site you still receive generous profit margins; in fact, you can provide services for less than we do and still have great profits. The key is that as you refer or resell (white label) to more subscribers, and increase the total number of AIRPlayer licenses under your reseller account, your cost per AIRPlayer will continue and decrease respectively. In other words, as you become a stronger more popular reseller, the lower your price per AIRPlayer license may be:

Let us give you an example to better explain the pricing model. The example is based on the default values which appear on the reseller calculator. Feel free to modify the values in the calculator to get a feel for our pricing strategy.

In this example we assume you have 5 subscribers which are associated with your reseller account.
You have gained them through white labeling your web site or thorough web referrals.
Here is the breakdown:

Subscriber #1 Agoura Pizza has: (2) AIRPlayers with 1000MB storage
Subscriber #2 Hair Spot has: (5) AIRPlayers with 2000MB storage
Subscriber #3 XYZ Airport has: (95) AIRPlayers with 5000MB storage
Free user   #4 Joe’s Auto has: (1) AIRPlayer with 1000MB storage
Subscriber #5 Hot Burger has: (25) AIRPlayers with 3000MB storage

 - Total AIRPlayer Licenses associated with your reseller account: 128

If you look at the “Our Charge” column on the reseller calculator, you will find that our listed prices for each of these packages individually are:

Subscriber #1 Agoura Pizza: $18.00
Subscriber #2 Hair Spot: $43.00
Subscriber #3 XYZ Airport: $526.00
Free user   #4 Joe’s Auto: $9.00
Subscriber #5 Hot Burger: $164.00

So our normal total charges for these 5 subscribers is: $760.00
That is of course if you decide to match our prices exactly (it’s your choice).
Use the Gain Ratio to modify your business pricing strategy as you see fit.

Your reseller discount appears on the reseller calculator as “Our Cost” and is: $656.00
So your reseller monthly income is: $104.00

To summarize:

Subscriber charges: $760.00
Discount cost: $656.00
Reseller fee: -$10.00
Your Monthly income: $94.00

The beauty of this is that your total monthly income is $104.00 for as long as these accounts remain paid subscribed accounts. We host the Digital Signage service while you collect the payment.

Now it doesn't matter how many subscribers you have referred (in our example is 5) but rather the only thing that matters is how many AIRPlayer licenses you are managing (in our example 128).
As you refer / resell more AIRPlayer licenses your price per AIRPlayer becomes lower until the lowest possible price is reached.

And you are still free to increase or decrease our suggested pricing structure; it's your call. You may choose to include several hours of technical support, few hours of signage presentation work and graphic design assistance. You can provide training courses and online webinars.
This of course would entitle you to charge more per AIRPlayer license per month.

MediaSignage gives you the complete flexibility to maintain the pricing strategy that's right for you. It's your business and your success, we just provide the tools.


Fees:


MediaSignage has two pricing options depending on the service you are interested in.
Both are flat monthly subscription fees.

  • Reseller: Fee of $10.00 a month
    Allows you the full functionality of our referral (affiliation) option which is based on directing traffic to MediaSignage and earning monthly recurring income from web visitors.
  • white label (branding) & advertising engine: Fee of $99.00 a month
    Included are all of the benefits of the referral option (as noted above) as well as our white label option. Anyone using this option can make the MediaSignage application look as if they own it.

When you signup as a reseller you will gain access to our reseller Studio which  allows for real time monitoring of your subscribers and their players. The studio includes many advanced features such as billing calculator, white label configuration, application external link manager, textual context manager, subscriber reporting, sample referral e-mail, and more.


The fees are based on monthly recurring fee. The fees are flat and regardless of how many subscribers or AIRPlayer licenses you are managing. Reseller benefits also include free technical support and more. The monthly fee falls under our reseller license agreement.
